FULL MOON DECEMBER 2012 - USA


DATA:  December 28, 2012 @ 5:22 A.M. - Washington, D.C.

The December Full Moon falls across the 7th/1st house axis, accenting public enemies and the nation's people as a whole.

A Cancer Lunation places emphasis on emotional factors, inner security and domestic affairs.  The Moon is opposing Pluto in Capricorn in the 1st house and trine Saturn in Scorpio in the 11th house.  We can anticipate reading about debt, entitlements, corporate welfare, and the economy.  Congress (11th house) - a/k/a public enemies - will continue in the transference of the people's wealth to corporate business (Pluto) and to the bankers (Moon ruling the 8th house) as the pending business of the "fiscal cliff" encroaches, all of which was caused by those mentioned herein.

Other items in the news that we may see will have to do with real estate, land developments, food, and restaurants...nationally and on the local scene.  Be alert for highly emotional and somewhat unstable people, consequently, keep a low profile, avoid stirring up trouble or issuing an ultimatum.

Individually, we can use this lunation to think about improving personal financial security and devising a workable plan of survival.

WINTER SOLSTICE 2012 - USA and GLOBAL

The figure for the Vernal Equinox always bears chief rule for the ensuing year and while the succeeding ingresses into the other cardinal points have also a pre-signification, they are subsidiary to the first-named.  For clarification, see "Spring (Vernal) Equinox 2012," posted on March 13, 2012, which pinpointed weather as a major factor for the year and which stated in part:

"Sun, retrograde Mercury and Uranus in the 4th house of weather events will tell of a violent tale for the ensuing astrological year (March 2012 - March 2013)." 

In this Winter Solstice chart, the planet Mercury conjoins the Sagittarian Ascendant while opposing retrograde Jupiter, the opposition reconciled by the 4th house Moon in Aries.  This means the reconciling planet siphons off the energy of the opposing planets into 4th house matters...such as weather for the nation.  Thus the theme of weather remains true.

The sign Aries in its influence on temperature is hot; we may then expect higher than normal temperatures over the ensuing winter.
When Aries is prominent in a chart, such as being on the cusp of the IC (Imum Coeli, Latin for "bottom of the sky), it shows much rain...the Moon in Aries in the 4th house will bring violence along with the rain, made severe at times due to Pluto square Moon.  Uranus in the 4th house tends to sudden temperature changes, from hot to cold and then from cold to hot.  He is a decidedly windy planet and brings wind storms of destructive violence.  As this chart indicates wetness in general, we may expect sudden thunderstorms in which squalls of wind and electrical displays join with temporary downpours of rain.

The general state of the nation is dire.  Sun conjunct Pluto in the 1st house square Uranus tells a tale of tremendous stress,  disruption and intense experiences to be endured by the citizens.  Any patience the people may have had up to this point goes missing during the course of the next three months.

Saturn, co-ruler of the 2nd house of the nation's wealth is in the 11th house (congress) in close sextile to Pluto.  Note that Pluto rules tyrants, dictators, vultures and other birds that eat carrion.  Look for the congress to grant yet more corporate welfare and especially to further the communist ideal of Agenda 21, supported by 3rd house afflicted Neptune, which rules everything associated with the loss of individual identity such as communism, the political ideology which would merge the individual into the proletarian mass.  Neptune in Pisces as the Apex of a T-Square involving Venus opposition Jupiter, describes not only the financial bankruptcy of the country, but its spiritual bankruptcy as well.

December 21, 2012 has become famous because of the Maya vision of a geological change for this Era that would bring with it a change in human consciousness.  This is reflected in the chart as the conjunction of Sun/Pluto in square to Uranus.  The Sun symbolizes our psychological and spiritual center; Pluto symbolizes regeneration and our capacity for self-transformation; it is the planet of metamorphosis.  Both Sun and Uranus symbolize Light.  The changes in the vibrational frequencies of every living soul on the earth - man, woman, child, animal, plant, and mineral - will be accomplished via the stress of the square, which forces action, and the influence of Uranus, who grants to us the capacity to liberate ourselves from past limitations.

Neptune is the Apex of a Mutable T-Square with Venus opposition retrograde Jupiter, creating a condition of hypersensitivity to all sensory stimuli, making it possible for earth dwellers to experience boundless emotional states of consciousness.  This is well and good for those who have prepared their unconscious minds (souls).  For those who have not, the experience will be disorientation, mental confusion, and inability to interpret messages or signals in the environment either accurately or clearly.  Many of these types will simply give up or give in, unable or unwilling to cope with the problems presented.

Jupiter in Gemini is conjoined the Royal Fixed Star Aldebaran - noted for integrity and courage - and the Apex of a Yod (inconjunct Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn).  On one hand the danger here is one of over-reaching coupled with poor judgment, a danger that can be counter-acted by the application of common sense.  The optimist will see this energy influence as expansion of consciousness, broadening social vision, and enriching moral development.

PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS AND DEATH BY MASSACRE


Pfizer, Inc., is the world's largest pharma industry, therefore I address the astrology of the company based on the date of incorporation.

DATA:  Incorporation was June 2, 1942 in Delaware...no time given, therefore, consideration will be given to planets and signs only.

Neptune, the planet ruling drugs and the drug industry, is square the Mercury/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, sign of children, indicative of the danger to children of pharmaceutical drugs, as the square aspect expresses violence between the planets so indicated  that leaves nothing of value in its wake.

Mercury rules the electrical currents which carry messages over the nerves and all cerebral processes, including perception and comparison.  All expression of thought in speech and writing are expressions of the thought-cells mapped by Mercury.  Jupiter rules the arterial blood stream of the body.  Under the square aspect from Neptune and the drugs it represents, there is a horrific adjustment to the cerebral processes of those who fall victim to its use and dangerous toxicity of the blood stream.

On the day of the Newtown Massacre in Connecticut on December 14, 2012 transiting Neptune at 00* Pisces 40' came to within 25 minutes of exact square to natal Uranus in Gemini at 1* Gemini 05'.  On one level, the meaning of the Neptune/Uranus square is that something that was trying to be kept secret from others may suddenly be revealed.  On another level, the company may be exposed to truths they have never been willing to recognize.  That Uranus is in Gemini and the planet being acted upon, the matter involves children.

If mass murder of children is to be prevented, people must stand up NOW and demand an investigation into the indiscriminate use of pharmaceutical drugs on children and on the doctors who prescribe their use.

ORION


This posting will take the place of the usual 1st Wednesday of the month essay due to the date involved.

As I write this, the web is alive with doom concerning the planetary lineup on December 3, 2012, when Mercury, Venus and Saturn correspond in the heavens to the pyramids at Giza.  The meaning of Orion follows.

KNIGHTS OF KING ARTHUR.  Jason conquered the brazen-footed Bull in one of his adventures while searching for the Golden Fleece, and Sargon of Akkad, fourteen hundred years before the time of Moses, came up out of the Bull-rushes to deliver his people from their tribulations.  But nearer to our own time, and perhaps, therefore, dearer to our hearts, is King Arthur and the famed Knights of his round table.

As is common to traditions when the historical background is dim or lacking, there are variants of the original, but the most authentic version of the story finds twelve knights, bold and strong, seated at a circular and revolving table; ready, like a panel of modern jurymen - twelve men good and true, each to view the matter from the angle of one sign of the zodiac - to pass judgment, and, unlike these later representatives, to fare forth in valiant exploits in the enforcement of their decisions.

The most conspicuous constellation on any yule-tide night, while the Candlemas Bull, Taurus, goes sailing overhead, as legend says it must, is Orion, who follows with upraised club.  In every land is he recognized as a warrior, and the three stars in his belt are known in every land.  In the region where the Tigris and Euphrates flow they are called the Wise Men of the East; but Celtic Druids held them to be three ladies who were present at King Arthur's birth.

Not only is Orion a warrior, but whether as Sargon, Moses, Jason, or the western legendary king, the fight he wages is not merely against oppression from without, but also against the materialistic tendencies and selfish ambitions of his own men.  In every legend relating to him, he fights with environmental forces that endanger his plans; and in every struggle some loss is sustained.

Moses, you will remember, when he had vanquished and utilized to more spiritual purposes the golden calf, called upon those who would support him, even as the constellation thus pictures it, every man to put his sword by his side.  And legend relates that the round table episode was precipitated by the personal ambitions of Arthur's men.

Each one desired the place of honor at the yule-tide feast; each man believed himself entitled to sit near the head of the table.  Nor, although so many hundred years have passed on what should have been progressive feet, do we witness much diminution in the ardor for similar social prestige.  But on this notable occasion the snubbing of one's neighbor was insufficient to express the fires of jealousy that raged within, and a brawl ensured which resulted in many slain; as a thousand years before a like slaying had occurred over the incident of the golden calf.

And thus, as Moses in the Bible times had been confronted by a serious problem, so was Arthur put to it to prevent a recurrence of such an incident among his men.  Nor did he shirk the responsibility thus at hand.  After all, ancient or modern, there is always a best way to meet every situation, always an opportunity to make the obstacle less retarding to progress than otherwise it would have been.

The Bull is pictured full tilt, as if enraged and pitching down upon the hero from the sky; who looks up to meet the impact of its charge undaunted, and with club well poised to deliver its most effective blow.  As belonging to the earthy0earthy sign, the Bull itself most appropriately typifies the crowding strength of the material environment with which we all must struggle and win if we are not to die.

But in its headlong plunge from the regions of above it also conveys the significance of those forces, invisible but potent, which assail man from the sky; the energies from planets and zodiacal signs, which, though more subtle in their attack, have even more power to shape and mold the destiny of man.

Environmental forces, those from the stars and those from the earth, are ever present, and their impacts call for well considered resistance.  We can not escape them, as the timid hare seems to seek to do as it scampers from beneath Orion's feet.  When problems are present, which every day they are, be they large or be they small, their issues must be met.  And for each such problem there is always a best of all possible ways in which to meet it.

This applies to all of them; and that they should be met with courage and full confidence, as Orion meets the rushing Bull.  No situation of life should cause the soul to quail.  Whatever physical disaster may come, whatever distasteful thing may be uncovered in the recesses of the unconscious mind, it is always better to face it squarely, to recognize it for what it is, and then to formulate plans by which the situation may best be met.

Those who form the patients of psychiatrists more frequently than not have refused to face something in themselves, or have refused to face some situation of their lives.  Freudian literature is filled with cases of illness due to unwillingness to recognize certain facts of people about themselves.  And even more serious is the effect of refusal to meet some crisis in the life; for when a condition is present which cannot be faced, the mind turns back upon itself, invents unconscious lies to explain behavior, and if the case is extreme enough in its unwillingness, there develops dementia praecox, one of the most prevalent forms of insanity.

We must face the problems of life firmly.  And among those problems is that of meeting the impacts from the stars.

The only possible way that the planets in their courses can exert an influence on the life of man is through imparting energy to him.  Whether spiritual, mental or physical, whenever work is done, whenever action results, there is always a proportional expenditure of energy.  Without consuming energy nothing is accomplished.

Within the body of man at his birth are lines of tenuous substance that act as aerials do on a radio receiving set.  And after birth, in response to the progress of the planets, other lines temporarily form that have a similar function.  It is these stellar aerials, mapped by aspects, which pick up the energy of the planets, load it with harmony or discordant static, and convey it to the thought0cells of which the finer body is composed.  They transmit to man, at times which can previously be ascertained, those forces from above symbolized by the downward pitching Bull.

Man is influenced by heat and cold and wind and rain and sun and innumerable other conditions that comprise his ever-changing environment.  But his reaction to the impact of these physical conditions is largely within his own control.  He cannot change the weather, but he can prepare to meet it, or if favorable, to take advantage of what it has to offer.  Neither can he change the motion of the planets in the sky, but he can change his own character, and in so doing receive energies more to his liking.

The permanent lines which extend across his finer body, and act as aerials to gather the programs from the planets, are expressions of his character, expressions of the harmonies and discords that have been organized within himself.  And if he changes these, so also will he change the aerials within his finer form, or even construct others not present at birth, which tune in spontaneously to the energy broadcasts of his seeking.

The temporary lines which form in response to the progress of the planets pick up energy corresponding to the rates to which they are attuned.  But the harmony or discord of the energy thus acquired may be vastly modified, so that it has a beneficial influence when it reaches the thought-cells.

Not only so, but the dial of man's own consciousness can be turned, if he used the resolution of Orion or King Arthur, to make an even more potent radio receiving set of his whole nervous system.  He can tune in on the planetary rate desired so completely and persistently that other programs coming from above reach him very little.

Here we see the wisdom of King Arthur.  To prevent a recurrence of the discord occasioned by each knight desiring the preferential place, he called to him the most cunning artificers of the land and instructed them to make a round table that would revolve, at which all the knights could sit, and each could thus consider himself at its head.

In the rgion where fabled Arthur is said to have reigned are still found today cromlechs, concentric circles of stone erected in prehistoric days to portray the orbits of the planets.  And in that land, as also among the Maya of Yucatan, the people array themselves in shirts of white on the first day of May, to dance in circles about the symbol of the Sun, the upright Maypole.

The weaving in and out of the dancers, as they hold ribbon strands reaching to the central post, cause these to form, one with another, sextiles and trines, squares and oppositions, and the other aspects by which astrologers ancient and modern plot the harmony or discord reaching the earth from various parts of heaven.

On that day the Sun has just entered the Struggle-decanate of Taurus, so-called because the life of those born from May 1 to May 11 is so seldom free from obstacles that must be overcome.  It is the decanate pictured by Orion.

We cannot doubt, therefore, that the problem of settling the conflict between his knights, with which King Arthur was confronted, was the same problem which confronts each individual at this day; the problem of avoiding the strife of influences coming from the planets as they sit in their seats among the twelve signs, and of winning their harmonious allegiance.

And he solved it as it must be solved today, by devising a method by which the dial of consciousness can be so revolved that any planet in its seat can be considered at the head, can be given temporary prominence, and thus enlisted fully in support of the most cherished endeavor.  Thus is derived the message of Orion:  The task of the soul on every plane of manifestation is to struggle with and overcome the limitations of its environment.

LUNAR ECLIPSE NOVEMBER 2012 - USA

The Moon falling into the 5th house puts a spotlight on stock market exchanges (the Big Casino) and other forms of gambling and on recreation, children, ambassadors and diplomats from foreign countries.

The Moon is recently separated from an inconjunct to 10th house Saturn, indicative of a government that has exploited the people with regard to their investments (Moon in 5th house).  The applying inconjunct of the Moon to 10th house Venus is a warning to the public of being drained of all physical resources by the same criminals.  There must be another QE on the horizon wherein the bankers will reap financial benefits to the detriment of the public, as Saturn is trine to Neptune.

Neptune in the 2nd house of the country's wealth forms the Apex of a Mutable T-Square with the eclipse, emphasizing the country's psychological weaknesses (blind spots) with regard to the financial state of the nation and its purchasing power.  The distortion of harsh reality is coming to an end and the people will be forced to learn how to become more discriminating.

Some of the eclipse energy will be siphoned off by 3rd house retrograde Uranus...expect headline news of sudden bridge closings, events involving moving vehicles including boats (all manner of transportation) and anything to do with communications.

PISCES and THE TREE OF LIFE


 Late on the night of November 11th the planet Neptune made its direct station at 00* Pisces 21'.  The spiritual message is as follows:

The Eternal Tie That Binds.---Virgo represents the Garden of Eden.  The exercise of the critical faculty, which is within its special province, is the way to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Yet information alone, no matter how comprehensive, is not sufficient to attain everlasting life, as the Bible clearly implies in Genesis 3:22:

"And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever."

The Bible then abruptly changes the subject.  Having indicated that there is a Tree of Life, partaking of which man might live forever, it leaves man to his own ingenuity to find where it is located.  Yet to anyone conversant with the ancient stellar doctrine that eternal progression depends upon both Love and Wisdom, and with the first principles of astrology which reveals that Polar Opposites, such as Love and Wisdom surely are, always occupy opposite stations in the zodiac, there could be no mystery where the Tree of Life must be located in the sky.  It must lie across the zodiac from the Tree of Good and Evil.

Pisces is the sign where the physical cycle of life ends.  If there is to be still further life, such as indicated by the new cycle commenced in Aries, those processes which lead to revitalization should be commenced before the time of transition thus indicated.  These are the processes so clearly indicated by the ribbon which binds the two Fishes of Pisces into an indissoluble union.

Specialization of parts - mechanics, statesmen, agriculturists, writers, artists, etc., - is familiar to us in that complex organization which we call our social system.  And we also are familiar with the fact that two elements united often produce a chemical compound with possibilities tremendously more significant than the same two chemical elements possess when not so united.

We may be sure, therefore, that the ancient masters who traced the constellations in the sky did not unite the two Fishes of Pisces into a single system without having information of profound import to convey.  They are not united rigidly, as are the cells of the physical body, but by a long ribbon which permits each Fish to move about without undue restriction from the other.  Each thus seems to be permitted the exercise of its own initiative; but belongs to a system from which it cannot separate.

Before attempting further to trace the significance of this universal symbol, let us see what the Greeks had to say about the constellation Pisces.  It is related to a watery sign, and thus to the emotions.  It is the exaltation of Venus, the goddess of love; that is, love finds its highest expression through Pisces.  And it is ruled by Neptune, the upper-octave expression of Venus.  Such expression, if it be true to the upper octave significance, relates to interior states which physical manifestations of love are unable to penetrate.  They have their significance chiefly where the astral body is concerned.

The Greek legend is that Venus and her son Cupid one day were strolling along the bank of the river Euphrates, when quite unexpectedly Typhon put in an appearance.  To escape this selfish monster, typical of Saturn, Cupid and Venus leaped into the water and transformed themselves into the two Fishes.  To commemorate this event the Pisces Fishes were placed in the sky.

Venus and Cupid represent love.  The Fishes into which they were transformed are denizens of the water, and thus signify emotions.  While love has a binding power, the ribbon by which the two Fishes are united, to be true to the rulership of Neptune, must represent an actual invisible energy which unites them, but which does not greatly hamper the movements of either.

Love manifests on various planes or levels.  But on the human plane, when there is natural harmony between the inner natures - that is, vibratory affinity between the finer bodies - and love has developed between the two persons of opposite sex, they easily and rather constantly tune in on each other's vibratory rates.  Depending largely upon the activity of their inner forces and the state of their spiritual development, a circuit, or endless belt of energy forms between them.  That is, there is a continuous current of astral energy circulating between them, much as there is a circulation of blood through the physical body of the individual.

This circuit  is indeed a current of life, possessing amazing potentialities.  These potentialities are commensurate to the height of the basic vibratory rates of the two between whom the circuit flows and to the amount of energy generated by their love, each for the other.  Not uncommonly those in love experience the blend of forces which if unbroken develops into this current.  Some also are aware that such a current is in existence.  But, as it belongs chiefly to the inner plane of life, mental discords tend to break it, and physical sensations tend to dissolve it.

It must be cultivated if it is to persist; and that cultivation must be along the line of developing and maintaining intense and tender love, each for the other.  Grosser feelings and passion will effectually destroy this fine belt, or ribbon.  It is sensitive to all lower expressions, and thrives on feelings which relate more to spiritual states than to those physical.

Selfishness, portrayed by the giant Typhon, is so restrictive in its influence that when it is present even in minor degree, and even when not related to the object of affection, it tends to destroy this endless belt of love.  To maintain it those whose love has reached a plane where it can form such a ribbon of spiritual potentiality must expand their affections to embrace all creatures.  The desire to destroy another, to deprive another of that which is justly his, or to in any way cause suffering to any living thing, tends to disrupt this fine ribbon by which the loving souls are joined.  The knot where the ribbons uniting the two Fishes are tied represents the Ego which is common to both souls, and which is the eternal spark of Deity by which they are energized  Thus the two souls and their Ego form a distinct system, which when so organized becomes a true spiritual cell in the cosmic body.  Such a soul-mate system, or spiritual cell, has a distinctive form on the inner planes; and when made permanent is commonly referred to as an angel.  It then no longer belongs to four dimensional existence, but by virtue of its new capabilities is typical of the truly spiritual, or five-dimensional plane.

The two souls comprising the angel do not lose their identity; no more so than Venus and Mars lose their identity because they both belong to the solar system.  Liberty of action on the part of each soul is still retained; but before they are thus permanently united in a single five-dimensional form - as the two Fishes with their ribbon have a single form and yet each Fish has wide liberty of action - they must have come into a realization of their Cosmic work.

We may be sure, therefore, that those capable of uniting through the endless belt of finer energies that ultimately will provide the form of such an angel, will not have diverse or conflicting interests.  Such divergent interests, through centering the mind strongly on different things, tends to disrupt or dissipate the endless belt of energy flowing between two people.  Where the interests are, or an objective of attainment, in that direction the finer energies tend to flow.  That is, the energies flow wherever the attention is directed.  But when the interests of both are centered on the same things there is no dividing of the energy stream, and the forces of both flow along a single channel.  This strengthens the bond between them.

The conditions which are most favorable, when the natural requirements are present, for strengthening the endless belt of finer energies between those who are deeply in love, are the desire to be as helpful and beneficial to all creatures as possible, having a common work by which this is chiefly accomplished, and the cultivation of tenderness and sympathy one for the other.

Neptune, the upper-octave planet ruling Pisces, is idealistic in his expression.  Therefore, those who cultivate this highest expression of love on earth find it advantageous to idealize all they do.  Whatever they do which they feel to be worthy, in the doing they keep the image of their loved one before them and feel that they are doing that thing, not because of duty, but for the sake of the other one.  All that is accomplished is thus done for love.  And the love motive becomes so powerful, under such cultivation, that hardships are not recognized as such, all life is filled with joy, and great accomplishment results.

The joy coincident with the establishment of the endless belt of love is only a small feature of its advantage; for its power to accomplish, working from the four-dimensional plane when loving and constructive thoughts are carried by it, is truly amazing.  Herein lies a force which makes Faith, even of the size of a mustard seed, able to move mountains.

LOVE is the Tree of Life, and its Fruit is Universal Brotherhood.

NEW MOON ECLIPSE NOVEMBER 2012 - USA


DATA:  Nov. 13, 2012 @ 5:09 P.M., EST - Washington, D.C.

The Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio falls into a packed 6th house along with Venus, Saturn and the North Node.  The crisis we have all been expecting looms ever closer.

The 6th house describes the circumstances surrounding the Scorpio influence...a/k/a environmental atmosphere.  On a material level, the sign Scorpio is about money gained or lost through the resources of others:  inheritance, income tax, social security, retirement funds, workers' compensation, insurance settlements.  It is the sign ruling debt.  On a spiritual level the essence of Scorpio is transformation.  Reverberating from the 22nd degree, healing and regenerative processes will undoubtedly be stimulated by sensitivity to the emotional environment (pained by human suffering).

The 6th house is the arena in which the Scorpionic influence will play out:  daily routine, duties, service, occupation...computers and places where records are stored; trade unions; the working class in general; service workers, police and firefighters, civil service and public servants, armed forces, public health and the nation's food reserves, especially grains.

On the subject of eclipses, astrologer Robert Carl Jansky wrote:
"The keywords to apply to the delineation of an eclipse are  emphasis and crisis.  The eclipse tends to emphasize matters in relation to the house in which it falls in the horoscope.  The eclipse tends to bring matters related to this house to a crisis stage during its period of effect.  The word "crisis" is not a malefic word, if you look it up in your dictionary.  It simply means that you are required by events in your life to devote more time, attention and energy to some matter(s) than usual."

ELECTION 2012 - USA

The chart is cast for when the polls open in D.C.

The First House or Ascendant in a mundane chart reflects the country and its inhabitants, its general condition of prosperity and health - or the reverse.

An interesting degree of Scorpio rises - the 18th - of which astrologer Adriano Corelli says:  "..an absolute lack of autonomy, a life weighed down by an excess of sloth...Courage to act openly is conspicuous by its absence, and there is just enough courage to bear the consequences of one's flippant fickleness or follies and to accept any sacrifice.  This sets the tone for the day.

Ascendant rulers Mars and Pluto hold forth in the 2nd house, Mars in Sagittarius separating from an opposition to retrograde Jupiter, and Pluto the Apex of a Cardinal T-Square, commanding the energies of Venus opposition Uranus.  The picture that is painted by Mars/Jupiter is one of financial excess.  As Jupiter falls into the 7th house, said excess stems from foreign countries seeking to steer the election to the person who will grant to them the most favors, such as engaging in a war they do not prefer to undertake by themselves.  Mars in the 2nd house also depicts the outflow of the nation's wealth, thus, prosperity is a thing of the past for most Americans.  The T-Square describes the condition of the citizens as being...a bit tense...and well they should be, considering wealthy foreigners are attempting to control the selection process.

The incumbent is shown by the 10th house, Leo on the Midheaven, ruler Sun posited in the 12th house of subversion and things done in secret.  The Sun is separating from a square to the 9th house Moon, indicating the peril to the people which this person created in his successful attempts to torpedo our constitutional rights.  

The republican challenger is shown by the 4th house, Aquarius on the cusp, ruler Saturn posited in the 12th house...yep, subversion and things done in secret.  The 27th degree on the cusp of the 4th, as defined by E.C. Matthews (paraphrased):  Usually successful at what is undertaken. 

A retrograde Neptune occupies the 4th house trine Saturn and sextile Pluto.  The challenger shall win (there are other astrological indications) however, what we have been told by this person is not what we are going to get.  And as Mercury turns retrograde in motion at 5:58 p.m., prior to the polls closing in D.C. at 8 p.m., what we get will not be apparent for a few weeks...probably not until Mercury turns direct in motion on November 26th as it conjoins the Ascendant of this chart.  And what we get will not benefit the United States or Americans because comparing this challenger's horoscope to that of the USA, it discloses that he has eight negative aspects compared to four positive aspects interacting with the United States.

His Sun opposition USA Neptune...the courts, foreign policies and all 9th house matters will become a blind spot...unclear in his direction...it may place him and the country in embarrassing situations

FULL MOON OCTOBER 2012 - USA

Taurus places focus on values and practical objectives.  The 2nd house in which the Moon is placed zeros in on money and movable property:  attitudes toward wealth and property.

We identify by placing a value on something.  The more we value it, the more we identify it as part of ourselves.  We are then attached to the item we value.  Security comes only when that which we value is not endangered.

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where it brings out the easy flow of emotions and grounds them...a fine time to enjoy a massage.  A Taurus lunation may bring to our attention personal financial gains or losses, or we may have to purchase or sell movable possessions.  The trend may very well affect our economic outlook so we must be ready to grasp financial opportunities.

SATURN'S INGRESS INTO SCORPIO - USA

This essay has been rather difficult to write.  It will be unpleasant to read.  Nevertheless, it is offered to assist in your survival and those of your loved ones, for knowledge is power.

This Ingress chart depicts the influence of Saturn in Scorpio on the United States of America for a little more than the next two years.  Saturn falls into the 8th house of death and transformation; both literal death and psychological evolution will be encountered, as the nation will be involved in a battleground of constant crises, for the 8th is primarily a house of crisis...a house of purging and purifying.  Whatever has outgrown its usefulness will be removed from our lives, quite often harshly.  In its stead we will be granted a new kind of freedom. 

Saturn, the Grim Reaper in Scorpio, the realm of death, in the 8th of Medicare means a panel will be formed during the course of this transit that will restrict disease-care for elders, leading to suffering and eventually death, for those so chosen.  With Libra on the cusp of the 8th house and its ruler Venus sextile Saturn, morticians will not be among the unemployed.

Accountability is a Saturn function, the 8th house and Scorpio govern debt, taxes, insurance, and entitlements.  Americans will be forced to come to grips with the deficit...the need for austerity is in our immediate future, although it will be selective, as intimated by the new death-care mandates.  While living in the physical universe we need attachments such as money to function effectively.  Over time these attachments cease to support us and instead burden us.  The function of Saturn in the 8th house will motivate us to shed what is holding us back from spiritual and mental regeneration; in most cases it will be done through external circumstances.

There is Mutual Reception between Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn.  They are also in sextile aspect to one another, making their influence less difficult than would occur with a challenging aspect between them.  A rose among the thorns.  Mutual Reception occurs when two planets relate by being in the sign ruled by the other.  They tend to benefit each other through mutual aims, which in the case of these two planets means malevolence and manipulation.  Opportunities will be provided via the sextile aspect.  With Pluto in the 11th house manipulation will come from the legislative branches...those folks whom Americans thought represented the welfare of their constituents...while malevolence will express through avenues such as medicare, medicade, stealth euthanasia, the public's money, and inheritance taxes.   

The conjunction of Saturn and Mercury reconciles the Neptune/Venus opposition, as does Pluto.  That means the tremendous energies of the opposition will naturally flow to either Saturn/Mercury in Scorpio or to Pluto in Capricorn...or equally to both.  The result will be technological advances (Capricorn) by pharmaceutical companies (Neptune) to develop new biotech products that may add longevity to life...and because Pisces, from whence Neptune expresses, is a dual sign, the pharmaceutical companies will also develop new medical (read toxic) drugs to 'assist' those people who have been deemed unworthy of health care in their journey into the next life. 

This is the agenda that must be avoided if you wish to survive.  The first step, if you haven't already done so, is to learn everything you need to know in order to eat intelligently so that you can maintain a healthy body.  And then teach what you have learned to your loved ones.

NATURAL HEALING FOR PLANETARY STRESS


If everyone has been paying attention you will have noticed that over the past few months the lunations have been projecting ever increasing stress to earth dwellers. The heavens not only map what is to occur on the mirror of earth, they also map recourse to difficult times.  

Stress is the province of Uranus, the Awakener.  Under the square from Pluto, in effect until March 2015, we are being buffered by the winds of change, being forced to confront inner and outer reality so that spiritual growth will result in an evolutionary explosion.  This essay will address how to cope, understanding that stress describes our reactions to physical, mental, or emotional stimulus causing an upset to the body's natural balance.

There are a number of alternative methods which can be implemented to maintain our bodies in balance...we do not necessarily have to rely on only one.  Uranus has rulership over, and therefore affects, the nervous system, therefore, that is where healing methods shall focus. 


HERBS:  An excellent tea to keep nerves healthy is a combination of OATSTRAW and STINGING NETTLE herbs.  An easy method of having this combo on hand at all times is to make it in the evening by putting two tablespoons each of dried herb in a quart Mason jar, pouring boiling water to nearly the top of the jar, and then covering immediately.  Let it steep on the counter overnight.  In the morning, strain and drink a cupful, refrigerating the remainder for use during the day.  Make a fresh batch each evening.

GINSENG helps strengthen the systems of the body, thereby making handling of stress easier each time it is confronted, preventing loss of nutrients and maintaining the effectiveness of the immune system.

VALERIAN acts as a tranquilizer by affecting the central nervous system, without the side effects of its copycat toxic drug, Valium.  It is used as an antispasmodic, stress reducer, sleep aid, and in olden times as an antidote to the plague and in the treatment of epilepsy. From time to time when I suffer a hard case of insomnia, I gain relief by mixing a dropperful of Valerian and a dropperful of Passionflower in a little water and drinking an hour before bedtime.

CHAMOMILE reduces stress with its gentle healing properties.  Best use is via a cup of tea when needed.


ESSENTIAL OILS and AROMATHERAPY:

LAVENDER essential oil effectively reduces anxiety and irritability while promoting relaxation...it is a fine stress reliever.  Either use in a diffuser, make a dream pillow, or put a drop on the edge of your pillowcase prior to bedtime.

GERANIUM essential oil is relaxing, sedative, tonic, and an anti-depressant, excellent for aiding the nervous system.  It opens the Solar Plexus Chakra and may help to discharge toxins from the liver that prevent emotional balance.  Massage two drops mixed with a carrier oil into the bottoms of both feet.

FULL MOON SEPTEMBER 2012 - USA

This Full Moon catches Pluto in the 7th house of war, foreign affairs and allies at the Apex of a Cardinal T-Square, the Moon separating - at the 11th hour - from conjunction Uranus.   I've said repeatedly that the United States doesn't have an ally and now we find in this area of circumstance an Apex Pluto, indicating a foreign country that tends to be relentlessly one-tracked in their aims...to have powerful, all-consuming obsessions...and to be opposed to the well-being of Americans, as Pluto forms an opposition to the Ascendant.

Some might refer to this configuration as a Grand Square, however,  angles (ASC or MC) do not represent dynamic urges that drive to express...rather, they describe attitude towards external conditions so that the urges of the four planets (Sun, Moon, Uranus, Pluto) interact with a great level of tension and filter themselves out through the Ascendant point, according to the behavioral expression of the ascending sign, which in this instance is Cancer, the sign under which the USA was born.  The sign Cancer symbolizes the need for emotional security, for feeling that one's environment will support one's existence, and for feeling nurtured.  When the needs of Cancer are not fulfilled, patterns of behavior emerge that is grasping and emotionally possessive from fear of loss.  Under the stress of this T-Square the Cancer patterns essential to social good fall by the wayside.

Suffice to say that the foreign country here represented has the willful desire to fulfill ambitions through force, manipulation, and/or subversive actions.  I'd surmise that we - as a country - have easily experienced manipulation...that subversive actions are and have been underway...leaving force on the immediate docket.

The Sun is in Libra, sign of war...the Moon is in Aries, a martial sign...and Pluto holds sway from the 7th house, governing war.  What more can be said?

SEPTEMBER 2012 NEW MOON EFFECTS ON VARIOUS COUNTRIES


USA: the Virgo New Moon of September 15/16, 2012 fell on natal 9th house Neptune, triggering Neptune's square with natal Mars, planet of war and aggression...and the country's personal signature for war.  Pay attention to what is being done, not what is being said, because lies predominate...top off survival preparations.

OBAMA: if he was born on August 4, 1961 the September New Moon fell on his natal Mars, trine his natal Saturn...I choose not to say what he is involved in surreptitiously, leaving the mystery for the astrologically astute to solve.  Don't forget to stock up on survival items for your beloved pets.

ISRAEL: the September New Moon formed a T-Square with Jupiter in the 3rd house of neighboring countries and Uranus in the 9th house of foreign countries.  The opposition of Jupiter and Uranus speaks to suffering wrought by poor judgment and ill-considered actions.  An Israeli Mistake in the making that will filter down to the rest of the world.

IRAN: the New Moon opposes their natal Mars while squaring natal Neptune, creating tremendous tension.  Significant conflicts can be expected, some of which will encompass oil. 

CHINA's horoscope has the September New Moon trine its 12th house Jupiter, a promise of good fortune in their financial affairs, most of which is occurring behind the scenes.  The East rises as the West sets.

JAPAN is another country that experiences this New Moon opposing their natal Mars...their sense of aggression is being aroused while at the same time the New Moon forms an inconjunct to their natal Sun, which will force leadership to make adjustments to ensure that the country will not lose face in their dispute with China.

PAKISTAN: the New Moon formed a square to natal Uranus...the natives are restless and prone to error that may cause a change of plans to be forced upon them.  The possibility exists for the country to change their objectives and take a different direction.

RUSSIA: the New Moon formed a sextile to their natal Pluto/Venus in 4th house Scorpio.  Watch them over the next four weeks as they are in a position to influence others, who may temporarily follow their lead.  Russia's Uranus in Capricorn opposite the USA Sun in Cancer causes a sporadic association that is rebellious in nature; the discordant combination causes Russia to resent the USARussia's Neptune in Capricorn also opposes the USA Sun; neither country trusts the other...America can expect evasive and deceptive qualities from the Russians.  Who knew?  LOL.

NEW MOON SEPTEMBER 2012 - USA and GLOBAL


DATA:  September 15, 2012 @ 10:12 P.M. - Washington, D.C.

The September New Moon falls into the 5th house, applying to a conjunction of Mercury in late degrees of Virgo...setting the theme for the following four weeks. Except for the house position, the theme remains the same for everyone in the world.

To convey the esoteric meaning of this astrological event we must look to the 3rd decanate of Virgo, pictured by a crown of twelve iron spikes.  This Venus-decanate of the mental sign Virgo is the point from which the Sun passes into the winter section of the zodiac.  And so the serpent, picturing the first decanate of Libra, is represented with his fangs just before Corona Borealis - the Northern Crown - as if to strike.

Virgo in a natural birth-chart rules the house that governs not only work, but also illness and servitude, the most common afflictions of human life.  When the Sun is in this sign it is moving toward the Autumnal Equinox where days and nights are equal, and after crossing which the forces of death prevail and the nights become longer than the days.  The forces of Light are still triumphant while the Sun remains in any part of Virgo, but the closer the Sun draws to the next sign, Libra, the weaker becomes the power of Day, and the more is Night able to inflict its encroaching power of evil upon the solar waning strength.

The last decanate of Virgo, where the Sun may be found from September 13th to September 23rd, is the most appropriate place in all the zodiac to represent the afflictions to which man is heir, and his persecution at the hand of fate.  The writer of Revelation seems to have recognized this when he speaks of the pain accompanying birth, commencing the 12th chapter thus:  "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the Sun, and the Moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars."

This place of tribulation in the zodiac indicates the proper attitude toward misfortune, the spiritual lesson being how Job triumphed over his afflictions.  To indicate some object significant of high honors attained, a crown was used...throughout the ages shown as a reward for victory or as a mark of distinction...triumph over the afflictions symbolized.

The Sun each year dies on the Autumnal Cross of Libra, even as the Son of Man gave up His life on Calvary; or that preceding this far-reaching tragedy the gentle Nazarene was vilely persecuted and made to wear a crown of thorns, of similar purport to Corona Borealis placed by the ancients in the sky to mark the tribulations of the Sun before it temporarily succumbs each year to the forces of darkness.

The fruits of life, whether they be tares or wholesome grain, are harvested from experience.  What that harvest shall be is not determined by the nature of the experiences, but by the mental and emotional reaction toward them; for both the physical conditions attracted in the future, and the spiritual values garnered, are dependent upon the seeds of thought thus sown and tended in the finer form and heading into character.  In the final winnowing all except the golden grain of character is blown away as tares and chaff.

The illness that one sign brings is not the same as that indicated by another.  The loss attracted by one sign when it is discordant, is not the same type of loss which another sign brings when acting as an affliction.  Thus are there twelve different sets of difficulties attracted from without which man should understand.

To represent these, the crown used to picture the reward of character triumphing over tribulations was given twelve spikes of hard, unyielding iron; one spike for each type of affliction.  Such is the significance of Corona Borealis.

In the Book of Job many wise sayings relative to life and its problems can be found; and the story of the afflicted hero is replete with sage advice.  In one catastrophe after another, Job lost his property and his children, until he had nothing left.  But with the wisdom of those conversant with Spiritual Alchemy he maintained that these things were merely given to him to use so long as it served the Lord's good purpose.

Occult wisdom holds that the thing which is greatly feared will come upon the person who holds such feelings and thoughts.  In addition to the chemical reaction to the emotion of fear, to fear a thing is to hold its image vividly in the mind and to feed that image mental energy.  It thus creates a thought-form which has a certain power, acting from the four-dimensional plane, to attract into the life the thing thus thought about.

In his time of affliction Job's friends held forth the doctrine that man's lot in this world is determined by his morality, and that the Lord must be punishing him for grievous sins.  But Job held that even the afflictions he suffered were for some good purpose.

If individuals are undergoing training to fit them each for a different function in the cosmic organization, each will attract to him or herself just those experiences he or she needs to develop the required abilities.  Accomplishment of any kind implies the ability to overcome difficulties.  People who have never had hard problems to solve are unable to solve hard problems when suddenly presented.

Afflictions, therefore, as Job discerned, are not bestowed by heaven to punish man for sin, but to indicate that he has a lesson to learn.  When he has learned this lesson he will be able to triumph
over the affliction, as Job did in the end, for when we live the Life of the Spirit we must have fortitude in times of adversity.

AUTUMN EQUINOX 2012 - USA

The chart cast for the Vernal Equinox always bears chief rule for the ensuing year; succeeding ingresses are subsidiary to the first-named.  From the chart of the Vernal Equinox posted on March 13, 2012, we found the focal point to be weather with restlessness of the natives being secondary.

The following interpretation is for the Autumn Equinox chart cast for Washington, D.C., for 2012 depicting situations to be faced by the population of the USA.

The Sun, conjoined Mercury, occupies the 11th house applying to an opposition of retrograde Uranus in the 5th house, governing the stock market.  The Sun and Mercury are also square 2nd house Pluto, which forms the Apex of a Cardinal T-Square, the empty leg and ultimate resolution being the 8th house of debt...the monster in the living room that is about to eat us alive.  We can expect monetary upsets, a change in direction and confrontations due to abuse of power by criminal banksters,  by members of congress (Sun in 11th) and Wall Street wheeler/dealers (Uranus in 5th).

Saturn, the Grim Reaper, is posited in the 12th house, on the same degree as the Moon's Nodes.  Justice is fated to come knocking on our doors over the course of the next few months.  "Verily I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the last farthing."  Matthew 5:26.

The only bright spot on the horizon is the sextile of 9th house Venus to 8th house Jupiter, however, not strong enough to overcome the square of Venus to 1st house Mars.  America will have trouble finding equitable compromises with foreign countries during this time frame.

WEATHER:  Aquarius on the 4th house cusp brings dry, crisp, cold weather.  Neptune in Pisces (a sign that tends to coolness) in the 4th house suggests freak weather of all kinds.

RESTLESS NATIVES:  Mars in Scorpio in the 1st house square the Midheaven indicates much resentment on the part of the citizens toward those in power.  Who can say where said aggressiveness will lead?

A Leo New Moon in the 10th house of government sextile the conjunction of Mars and Saturn in the 12th house sets the theme for the next four weeks, suggesting the planning and laying of foundations of a new enterprise to take place in secret.  The Mars energy may bring the entrance of something new and different never before encountered in the country having to do with military.  The Saturn energy will have the government attempting to suppress scandal and we may witness sudden retirements of political and/or military figures.

In the 3rd decanate of Leo - a decanate of ambition - this New Moon warns that the love of power and rulership combined with the quality of leadership  bestows a determination to rise in life regardless of obstacles and when this tendency is carried to extremes, such people will sacrifice their associates and even integrity itself, in order to increase their power.  Politically, the 10th house rules those currently at the helm of the country.

The 1st degree of Scorpio Rising is indicative of power struggles that will force people to come to grips with something they would rather avoid; getting their minds around the full parameters of a situation.  Co-ruler Mars in Libra is in its detriment, hovering near the Ascendant, hampered in its capacity to act; co-ruler Pluto is retrograde in the 3rd house and part of a Cardinal T-Square involving Uranus at Apex and Venus, resolving in 12th house issues, describing those issues as treacherous, subversive acts.

Scorpio is natural ruler of the 8th house and brings to our attention public monies, bankruptcy and losses.  The 8th house of this chart has 29* Taurus on the cusp, a degree signifying a crisis is at hand, Taurus ruling money and one's value system, both of which appear to be in free-fall.  There is an expression:  "you can take that to the bank" except that is the last place an intelligent person would place their assets.

As a nation we have, by magnetic attraction, drawn to us leaders who reflect our values...or at least, values of the majority.  Do you still wonder why illegals are permitted to remain in the country?  They are criminals bereft of ethics willing to break our laws and so become part of the majority, eventually lowering the vibratory rate that draws those of like thought.  To live in a world with an elevated moral system requires that we look into ourselves, rout out our personal negatives, and become in our individual lives what we wish in our national lives.  Like the 100th monkey, it only necessitates a small percentage of people for lift-off.  We must continue to keep working on ourselves for it is the only way to achieve an upward movement in consciousness...a/k/a ascension, a process wherein you live in and transcend the world simultaneously.

Until then, we are relegated to watching the continued degradation of what used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave...with a congress that prostitutes itself for the sake of money and power.

SATURN IN SCORPIO - GLOBAL



Saturn, the planet known as the bill collector and disciplinarian, will enter Scorpio, the sign known for debts, on October 6, 2012 and remain there until December 23, 2014.  The world already knows it is awash in monetary debt...but how many realize there is a debt of another kind, one of more importance to the bill collector?

SCORPIO.  All energy wherever manifest is the result of the interaction of positive and negative potencies.  Mental action and spiritual aspiration, as well as physical movement, are dependent upon desire; upon the utilization of energies on a higher vibratory level which if permitted to express on the Scorpion plane would manifest as cruelty and lust.

In the ancient past the scorpion was selected to symbolize a particular section of the sky because of the intensity, the power, the cruelty and the vileness of the destructive side of sex, as depicted in the oldest seals and boundary stones of Mesopotamia and to be seen on the Arkansas Astrological Stone.  As you may recall reading, once the nuptial union and fertilization of scorpions has taken place, the female tears the male from limb to limb and devours him completely.  This is the negative side of Scorpio.

The higher side of Scorpio is represented by the Eagle and in symbolizing the four quadrants of heaven, it is the Eagle that has been selected to represent the Scorpio quadrant.  That is, the four fixed signs of the zodiac, as representing the entire celestial circle, are always pictured as a Man, a Bull, a Lion and an Eagle.

In its upward soaring flight the Eagle appears to ascend until completely out of sight and thus came to be considered the universal symbol of the highest spirituality.  Therefore, the ancients sought to convey the idea that the Scorpion represented the lowest and most vile; while in the Eagle they saw the symbol of those most exalted spiritual heights to which it was possible for humans to attain.

The energy of Scorpio is either creative or destructive, light or darkness, and can express in any field.  Whether it takes the upward trend, carrying its user on the back of the Eagle into rarer atmospheres, or sinks him in the mire of grossness and dissipation, depends upon his Desires.  It is desire that gives the trend which the energy must take, and the energy carries him along wherever it goes.  If Desire is in the direction of refinement, charged with aspiration to something better, progress is assured.  If it is toward the sensual it pulls him down.

Desires become surcharged with emotion and emotion tunes the nerves and etheric body in on invisible energies of a similar vibratory rate.  We have the choice of drawing into ourselves (according to our moods) the finest energies that vivify the spaces or the grossest forces from the putrid border spheres.

Saturn transiting Scorpio represents a battleground, the primary purpose being to gain self-understanding and self-mastery through constant crises.  The object is to overcome personal negatives to allow the light of consciousness to manifest (transformation and resurrection into higher consciousness).  The clues as how to accomplish same were set forth in the fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" many, many years ago.

STELLAR RELIGION OF THE PRE-INCAS



Let us consider the year 1531, in the magnificent city of Cuzco, high in the Andes, 500 miles inland from where the pacific laps the South American shore.  There the previous year Pizarro, the Spaniard, had landed, enticed the Inca king Atahualpa into his camp, slaughtered his retinue, and held him for ransom.

The price of the king's liberty was a room full of gold.  The treasures poured in, hundreds of llama trains were on their way laden with golden temple vessels.  But the Spaniards grew impatient, strangled Atahualpa, and the llama trains turned back.  Treasures which are still hunted, but seldom found, were hidden in caves, buried in secret spots, thrown into the river; anywhere that would deprive the invaders of their spoil.

The Incas, themselves, were an invading ruling class, who after long struggle had gained dominion over a population of ten million.  Like the ruling caste in other lands, they looked to the wisdom of the priests for guidance.  These priests were custodians of the Stellar Wisdom gained from the Pre-Incas, the older superseded people who left distinctive relics and characteristic walls of stone that yet may be found in various places in the mountains.

The Stellar Wisdom held that gold was the metal of the sun, and that the sun was ruler of the king.  Thus to the populace, as is taught in Japan today, the royal family was descended from the sun.

As the sun is astrologically supreme, in the capital city, Cuzco, the most magnificent temple was dedicated to it.  The roof was of precious woods plated with gold.  A six-inch freize of gold ran outside around the building.  The doors opened to the east, and at the far end above the altar was a golden disc with human countenance shaped and graved to represent the sun, and studded with precious stones.  It was so located that, at the equinoxes, the rays of the rising sun falling on its polished surface gave a reproduction in the temple of the brilliant source of light.

Around this central edifice where homage was paid to Inti, signifying both sun and light, were smaller astrological temples.  Most important of these was one dedicated to the moon, consort of the sun.  Instead of gold, its great disc was of silver.  Its ornaments and decorations also were of this lunar metal.

Still further bespeaking precise astrological knowledge, around the sacred city of the sun were placed twelve great stone columns, on each of which successively the sun was deemed to rest.

Even the Incas, the ruling class, were privileged to gain only a portion of the Stellar Knowledge.  A priesthood dedicated to the light, and having rigid requirements for initiation, were the custodians of this Pre-Inca wisdom, and held many another precious secret.

Not too distant from the temple of the sun stood a magnificent structure which housed the temple virgins.  They were high-born girls, selected for their beauty and dedicated to temple service, and like the vestal virgins of ancient Rome, next to the king were the most sacred persons in the land.

This was the setting when the predatory conquistadors, having slain the Inca king, and thus instead of hastening, had turned back the flood of gold, marched into Cuzco.  Each mail clad soldier ripped gold from the temple walls.  The great disc of precious metal which served to mirror the equinoctial rising sun became the stake for which the soldiers brawled and gambled.

Then, when each had gathered to himself such gold as he could reach, he grabbed a lovely treasure of the flesh.  The virgins of the sun were roughly seized, were hunted when they fled, and made the prey of the bestial soldier crew.

Not all, however, suffered such degrading fate.  One hundred of them vanished, not all the Spanish search could find a trace of them.  They were there, they had gone; and for four hundred years that disappearance was a mystery.

Not only the knowledge of the stars and the spiritual teachings of the constellations, but many another precious secret, was in the custody of the Stellar Priests.  Cuzco had not always been the empire's capital.  Seven hundred years before, still earlier Peruvians had built a most amazing citadel.  Finally abandoned in favor of Cuzco when certain perils had passed, for 200 years it had been forgotten to all except the Stellar Priests, who kept it in repair for secret refuge.

It was to this white-granite city, over secret trails, that the priests led the 100 fleeing virgins.  They gained the 14,000 foot crest of the Continental Divide, and then, for some distance, descended the tropical Urubamba canyon toward the Amazon.  Here was a city of 400 hewn-stone houses.  The temple was built of irregular, dissimilar, many joined stones of gigantic size fitted with Pre-Inca nicety.  One block in it is 14 feet long and 8 feet high.

Manchu Picchu, as the city is called, is an incredible place.  It is built on a spur, with precipitous sides dropping 2,000 feet all around except for a narrow strip of rock connecting it with the main mountain range.  Across this narrow strip was built a stone wall, by which soldiers could protect its only approach.  It was the best spot in all the Andes from which to repel invasion.  Built 700 years before the fleeing virgins reached its then deserted houses, outside the wall were small terraced gardens which gave food supply, and limited the old time population to about 9,000.

At the very apex of the place is a stone sun dial three feet in diameter, with a square hub a foot high in the center.  This ancient astronomical instrument was called Intihuatana---Inti, meaning sun, and huatana, meaning tied---"The place where the sun is tied."  Those who built the city and used this observatory were well versed in stellar lore.

Here, untouched by the outside world, the 100 fleeing temple virgins lived out their span of lives.  Their graves reveal the story.  One by one, as the hand of age laid heavily upon them, they died, still inviolate virgins to the sun, leaving no issue.  Those surviving performed the last rites until, after scores of years, the last one passed on, with none left to bury her.

The Stellar Priests likewise lived out their span of years in this lost city of the mountains.  And when they died, they too were gathered to their fathers, taking with them the knowledge of their caste, the priceless Stellar Wisdom.

Only by an archaeological accident was the city ever found.  In 1911, nearly four hundred years after the virgins fled the embrace of the mail clad Spanish soldiers, to be seen no more, Manchu Picchu, the impregnable city of white-granite houses where the sun is tied, was discovered by Professor Hiram Bingham of Yale.

URANUS RETROGRADE - GLOBAL



The planet Uranus turned retrograde in apparent motion on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 8* Aries 32.5' in the first decanate of the zodiac, traced in the sky by the constellation Triangulum - the Divine Fire.

Uranus represents the archetypes within human consciousness of deconditioning, liberation, individuation and freedom.  In the sign Aries, the influence is the instinct to become an independent entity which, by its very nature, creates a perpetual identity crisis, the result of which is rebellion in order to live life differently from the prevailing status quo.  The condition of retrograde motion quickens evolutionary growth as it removes conditions of the past in order to be refilled with new dynamics.  This process is intensified by a restlessness against any sense of restriction, leading to an almost divine discontent.  This acceleration will remain in effect until Uranus turns direct in motion on December 13, 2012. 

From now until then, intense pressures will build within us all creating tremendous stress, especially for nations that have transiting Uranus in angular houses in their horoscopes...as in the 4th house of the USA, where Americans are starting to face a certain kind of oppression from the terrorists in charge with regard to gun ownership, as one of the weapons of Uranus is a gun.  As Uranus is a key trigger to war, this could be the final straw that gives birth to revolution.  The nation's people as a whole are ruled by the Moon and also symbolized by Jupiter as ruler of the Sagittarian 1st house.  Jupiter - the greater benefic - is conjoined Venus - the lesser benefic - at the birth of the country, both of them trine (good fortune) natal Moon.  Those in power, on the other hand, are hampered with Saturn square Sun, an aspect of much suffering.  Which is to say should it come down to the few in power against the many gun-owning citizens, the power-mongers aren't going to fare well. 

The Key-phrase of Aries is "I Am."  Its influence causes a viewing of things from the standpoint of individual survival and expression; in its symbolical aspect, Aries represents the Sacrifice.  Flocks and herds bring forth their young during the portion of the year that the sun occupies this sign.  Additionally, the Ram also symbolizes the spring and the commencement of a New Year, when life, light and love are to be bestowed upon the sons and daughters of earth in consequence of the sun having once more gained the victory over the realms of winter and death.  The symbol of the slain Lamb upon the equinoctial cross is another type of Aries.  Functioning upon the intellectual plane, Aries signifies the martial spirit of destructiveness and aggression.  It is the active will under the guidance of the executive forces of the brain and denotes an energy that will never really submit to the control of others. 

Once again referring to the constellation Triangulum...Universal symbolism is a language which does not change with age because it is based on human experience.  The three sides of the constellated triangle express two energies of different polarity, i.e., with a different type of motion, united, and the result of that union.  Thus the trine of heaven reveals that the interaction of two forces, the diverse pull of polarity, has a potency in either of two directions:  It may either build up or tear down, be devoted to creation and construction or turned into channels which disrupt and destroy.

This start of the starry circle has explanation at the commencement of the Bible:  "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

Until there was the stress of two forces, strains pulling the ether in diverse direction, existence was without form and void; and as light is a particular motion in the ether, there was darkness everywhere.  Interaction, or polarity, generates movement; in fact, no movement, physical, mental or spiritual, ever takes place apart from the union of positive and negative potencies.  Whether visible or not, when heaven and earth, positive and negative, ether and matter are present, there is action, which, as it is chiefly wave-like and not understood as to its exact nature, is well described as the Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters; the third side of the universal triangle.

Triangulation is the measurement of angles.  The importance of the trinity at the beginning of everything has been recognized by all the great religions of the world:  Father, Son and Holy Ghost of Christendom;  Brahma, Vishnu and Siva of the Hindus;  Osiris, Isis and Horus of ancient Egypt.

Creation involves a trinity, as does destruction.  It is only when the union of contending or divergent factions is properly directed that we attain true progress.  The pioneer spirit of Aries is expressed in this decanate in all its fiery fullness.  Zeal and enthusiasm abound.  The Aries-decanate of Aries, sub-ruled by Mars, the aggressive lord of war, ever seeks new worlds to conquer.  That which is old and worn must eventually give place for the sound and new; yet if accomplished too swiftly or completely, there will not be sufficient power for recovery.

When the thoughts are permitted to soar untrammeled upward, even as the triangle points to heaven, under this influence are born harbingers of better things.  But when the lower martial power gains sway, the avenging agents of death and destruction manifest.

I take the meaning of retrograding Uranus at this point in time to be a warning to humanity that it is on the clock, not only at the 11th hour but dangerously close to midnight.  Dawn precedes sunrise and what you expect will be your destiny...tic toc.
